Once more, Parklane Gallery looks forward to our Annual International Miniature Show in July, 2025. This midsummer month is perfect for the event, as Kirkland sees a surge in foot traffic from art enthusiasts, both locals and visitors. They come to explore the wonderful shops and restaurants in the heart of this lively, artistic community.

Juror: Lois Haskell
Growing up in a small New England town with a vibrant artist community, Lois had the privilege of studying with many excellent artists. This nurturing environment sparked a lifelong passion for painting, particularly the stunning landscapes of the Northwest.
Lois’s artwork captures the essence of the region, with many of her paintings now held in private collections across the country. She has a special fondness for “plein air” painting, often exploring the back roads of the Northwest in search of inspiration. The Skagit Valley and the San Juan Islands are among her favorite places to paint, where the natural beauty never fails to inspire her.
In addition to her larger works, Lois is also an accomplished Miniaturist. Her passion for miniature art was evident during her over ten years coordinating Parklane Gallery’s Miniature shows. Through these exhibitions, she developed friendships with miniaturists from around the globe. This year, we are fortunate to have Lois as the juror for the show she has worked so tirelessly on.
Lois’s paintings have been juried into numerous art shows across the country and have garnered several awards. You can see more of her work on her website: www.loishaskell.com.
