Pottery Northwest – Studio Apprenticeship
The Studio Apprenticeship Program is a one-year work exchange and career advancement program geared towards ceramic artists who are interested in learning more about the back of house processes of a community studio. Apprentices receive training in a variety of studio management and maintenance skills as well as free studio access to develop their personal work. In exchange, apprentices complete 4 hours of studio work each week to practice these newly acquired skills and to help keep the Pottery Northwest studio running. By the end of the year, apprentices will be prepared with the tools and experience they need to successfully set up a home studio or apply for a job at a ceramics studio.
