About the MFL

The Male Fertility Lab at the University of Washington performs semen analysis and sperm function tests for UW clinics, Seattle area and Northwest physicians, and self-referred patients.

We are located in the UW Health Sciences Building in the Department of Urology, at 1959 NE Pacific St, Room BB-1120.

Hours: M-F 8:30-5. Special tests and services available weekends.

All services are by appointment only.

Billing is through the UW Department of Laboratory Medicine. You will receive a bill from the University of Washington Medical Center several weeks after your appointment.

You must register (free) at the UWMC registration desk on the main floor of the Medical Center prior to your first visit.

Directions to the MFL

For Patients:

Park in the Triangle Parking Garage off NE Pacific St. Enter the UWMC. Go to Registration if necessary. Go to the BB wing (past the Pacific elevators), and take the BB elevators to the 11th Floor. Follow signs to Male Fertility Lab (BB1120). You will receive a coupon for partial re-imbursement of the parking fee.

For Research Subjects:

Park in the S1 Lot. You will have to pre-pay $11. You will be re-imbursed with a coupon. Walk through the tunnel in the upper level of the underground S1 garage, turn left to the BB wing and elevators. Take the BB elevators to the 11th Floor. Follow signs to Male Fertility Lab (BB1120).
