Cathy Daley My
work explores how women are represented through language and image in
contemporary Western culture.The
current series focuses on clothing in relation to the female body and
the construction of feminine identity. Inspired by the vocabularies
of feminine glamour including high fashion, Hollywood cinema, fairy
tales, dance and other sources that explores memory and the way in which
the iconography of the dress is charged with cultural meaning.
