Downtime Update

Filed under: Uncategorized — Aaron Johnson @ 4:02 pm

5:30 pm Update

All DawgPrints services should now be running. If you have any issues please contact uwcshelp@uw.edu.

Most of printing on campus should be back up and running, though some locations may see an error about a refused “print job command.” We are actively working on rolling out the fix for that; it is a manual process so it will take some time.

If you have any issues please submit a ticket to uwcshelp@uw.edu

Thank you,

Your DawgPrints Team

Testing offline billing before Wednesday Maintenance

This Wednesday at 6AM the billing servers DawgPrints uses (“blackboard”) will be offline for up to 4 hours for upgrades.

To avoid an outage we are testing offline billing right now by briefly restarting our billing server (“cloyd”) to ensure offline billing works properly. This should not cause any issues for users, but your account balance should show $5 while cloyd is offline.

It is possible this will bring DawgPrints billing down for about 5 minutes, but it will then be right back up.

Thank you for your patience,

-DawgPrints Team
