The News Room Poster Series
The monologue represented on these posters comes from a scene in The Newsroom, and I was fascinated by the varying levels of emotion shown by Jeff Daniels. Red and black assist the aggressive first section of the monologue, while white and gray represent the hopeful mood of the second section. These colors and the organization of the two monologue sections in each composition unify the three posters as a series.

Whistler, BC Symbol Set
After visiting Whistler, BC, the resort town in Canada, I was inspired to showcase the icy environment and the cool experience. With Whistler often being a winter hotspot, these symbols are covered in snow and showcased in cold colors. The wood paneling that serves as the poster’s background represents the atmosphere found in lodges, restaurants and clubs.

Metacritic Year In Review: Hip-Hop in 2015
When tasked with the opportunity to design & produce a publication for iPad, I chose to celebrate my interest in the music industry. I believed 2015 to be a particularly great year for Hip-Hop music and took the persona of popular music rating website Metacritic. I updated their creative direction, altering the color scheme and placing a higher emphasis on imagery. The backgrounds consist of alternating black and dark gray, making the album artworks and bright titles stand out.
