More Ideas for Potential
Links of Leaf Filter to Bioremediation: |
|
It is here I propose that
some measure of bioremediation could be applied. Perhaps the compost
could be inoculated with bioremediation bacteria to address the most
serious toxins. Filtering systems may be used to meet the recharge
requirement (Rev) if they are designed to exfiltrate, or gradually
escape into the soil. Best applied to highly impervious land uses. |

This is just the beginning of an exploration
of the leaf compost storm water system. Hopefully the relationship
of bioremediation to this process can be picked up and explored further.
Also worthy of further research is the idea of using leaf compost
gabions for storm water to pass through before it enters the water
quality pond. |
