What is GenCyber Tacoma?

The National Security Agency (NSA) and National Science Foundation (NSF) developed the GenCyber program to provide cybersecurity camp experiences for students and teachers at the K-12 level. The goals of the program are to increase interest in cybersecurity careers and diversity in the cybersecurity workforce of the nation, help all students understand safe online behavior and how they can be good digital citizens. The first GenCyber camps were offered in 2014 at six locations around the country. Since then, the program has expanded to 122 camps in 39 states and the District of Columbia.

2023 GenCyber Tacoma is focused on local middle and high school students and is a week long FREE GenCyber summer camp for middle and high school students.
