Piazza B. Cairoli, 119
If you walk straight down the street in the SE corner of Campo dei Fiori you will find it on your left as soon as you hit Via Arenula.

Description |
|
This is the Campo dei Fiori location of the Roma Store, affiliated with the local soccer team, AS Roma. Though a smaller outlet its close proximity makes it convenient, and as the first one I visited it holds a special place in my heart. But I would suggest the larger outlet further east for ticketbuying... because this location doesn't sell tickets. Beware, it closes for lunch (anyone surprised?) so don't expect any midday shopping.

Story of Discovery |
|
When we first arrived in Rome, at the point where I was lost as soon as I left the Campo, I stumbled upon it and it was a beakon of light in a mass of foreign confusion. Soccer, why I love Europe, and a whole store full of it.

Element of Interest |
|
It's a plethora of maroon and gold, sweatshirts and jerseys acting as wallpaper and scarves draped between AS Roma lunchboxes and AS Roma barbie dolls. It's a sight to behold.

The facade is modest, an open doorway in a concrete wall. Above plain capital letters of rusty metal spell out "Roma Store," and to the side a window gives a preview of the contents. It wraps around a cornerstore and changes into a generic sports shop on the other side of the corner, the colors more varying.
