  Location and Hours

This restaurant is near Campo di Fiori in Piazza Santa Barbara. Facing Bruno it is down the right right corner street, Via Giubbonari. It is closed during the afternoon, but open late for dinner.

Walking down that street you will find the restaurant in a small square on the left side of the road, Largo dei Librari, and the restaurant is number 88.

  Rating

I liked the food very much, but found it a little 'costoso', although that has not stopped anyone who has tried it to recommend it highly to everyone else. So I rate it a 4.

  Price Range

You can spend 7 euro and get two large pieces of fried fish that are very fresh, and very tasty. Those two pieces more than filled me up, though one must be careful to eat slowly as the fish is served right out of the fryer and extremely hot.

  Time of Visit

I attended this restaurant in early September 2004, around 9 o'clock in the evening.

  Description

This is a medium sized casual restaurant with seating both inside and outside in the little square there. I personnally would reccomend taking the food to go as their isn't anything particularily interesting to see there.

  Menu

I ate the fried cod in my visit. 'Due baccala' will get you two pieces. I also had a coca-cola, but that wasn't anything special, though as common to Rome it was exspensive in comparison to prices from home.

  Review

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this resatuarant and hopefully will be able to go back there again before I return home. The restaurant has a full many and serves many other dishes, but the baccala was written in bold on the menu, so I assume that it is by far their best dish and obviously by the name of the restaurant, their specialty.
