I looked both of these up in my phrasebook. They are useful because if you are eating or shopping with a friend it might get confusing to your server or cashier on how you want to pay. I had an experience in one of the grocery stores and it took me forever to get across that I was going to pay for everything together and I did not have my phrasebook with me.
