I knew that I wanted to study abroad somewhere in Europe, and I also knew that I wanted to learn Italian to fill my language requirements for UW. This program seemed to fit both of those desires, and had the added bonus of being an Honors program, which makes it just that much more interesting!

I am most interested in seeing the old villas. I have begun researching the Villa D'Este, and am already fascinated by the beauty of the estate. I can't yet imagine how beautiful it is going to be in person. I am very excited to walk through and experience this estate.
