(This is a continuation of “How to say ‘no’ in Italian)

Scenario 3: An Italian male catches you glancing at him, or you catch him glancing at you, and the moon is in the right phase. If you find yourself in Scenario 3 and you would like to say “yes” to an Italian man’s invitation, simply smile and say “si.” Understand that Italian males are gutsy, insatiable, and relentless (please see “How to say ‘no’ in Italian”), and if you do agree to meet this man later, then you are taking a gamble. Never give them your phone number.

However, if YOU would like to make the offer, I recommend saying “Vuoi fare qualcosa stasera?” (Do you want to do something tonight?) or “Vuoi ballare?” (Do you want to dance?). I can say that 99.99% of the time, your offer will be accepted.
