In an attempt to become "cultured" while in Italy, I forced myself to try different foods and drinks. My favorite kind of wine that I tried was by far Chianti. Nate and I enjoyed having a few glasses of wine in our apartment as we relaxed after class every night. I think we both felt much more sophisticated and cultured when we would order wine rather than beer, and a bottle of Chianti rather than simply vino di casa. Since I have been home, I have missed drinking Chianti but I guess that will just force me to return to Italy as soon as I can.
