iCOO Parents
We are asking parents to complete the Infant Cleft Observer-Reported Outcomes Instrument, or “ICOO” questionnaire for seven days in a row at three different time points.
In 2015 we started interviewing parents and craniofacial specialists to create the content for our parent-report observation questionnaire, the iCOO. The goal of the iCOO is to help us understand how a specific cleft-related treatment (currently, lip surgery) affects the whole health and well-being of the child.
This study is a good fit for:
- Parents who are 18 and older
- Parents who have a child under 18 months who has a diagnosis of a cleft lip with or without cleft palate who has not yet had lip repair
