Dr. Alfred Osoti, MBChB, MPH, PhD, is a lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Nairobi. He graduated from the MPH program in the Department of Epidemiology in June 2013 with the thesis, "Home Visits during Pregnancy Enhance Male Partner HIV Counseling and Testing in Kenya: A Randomized Controlled Trial", and returned to Kenya where he continued to contribute to ongoing research activities of the UW collaborative group in Nairobi and Kisumu. He received his PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Washington in 2018. Dr. Osoti served as study coordinator for a randomized, controlled trial evaluating HIV testing and educating male partners to improve maternal and infant outcomes for the Home-based Partner Education and Testing study (HOPE).
