Who We Are
The Specimen Procurement Division is the largest division in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the UW Medicine
health system. The division provides inpatient and reference lab testing service in specimen processing, phlebotomy,
courier service, and call center. Each year the division touches over 900,000 patient samples.
