All High Schools by Year

The Mapping and Enhancing Language Learning (MELL) Project at the University of Washington is gathering information about what languages are taught where in our state.

This full list of public high schools originally came from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction website in 2003. High schools that provided data for the 2004 World Languages & Technology Survey are marked with 2004 in the Year 2004 column; those that provided data in the 2007 MELL survey are marked 2007 in the Year 2007 column. Finally, those that have responded so far to the 2008-9 MELL Survey are marked 2009.

Note: Several high schools that submitted data were not in the original OSPI list.

If your high school is not listed, please consider having someone knowledgeable at the school (e.g., counselor, principal, world languages department chair) complete the MELL Survey for school year 2008-9.
