Microanatomy of Immunity: Vaccination, Infection, or Cancer

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Gerner (http://immunology.washington.edu/michael-gerner-phd) to investigate how positioning of immune cells within tissues influences their the generation of immune responses in the context of vaccination, microbial infection, or during cancer.

This position requires a PhD in immunology or similar disciplines. Previous experience in bioinformatics or imaging is desirable. The successful applicant will join a collaborative and dynamic research environment, and will be able to take advantage of the collegial surroundings provided by the UW’s Department of Immunology and the thriving research environment in Seattle.
