Exploring the spatial organization of immune responses to vaccines and infections through quantitative microscopy
In the Gerner Lab, we strive for excellence in scientific research while also fostering a strong team environment. We collaborate with multiple other groups on understanding diverse immunological processes and diseases, including infection and cancer. We hold regular lab meetings, journal clubs, as well as partake in Joint Meetings with several other labs in the Department of Immunology, sharing our ongoing research progress in highly energetic and interactive environment. We also partake in regular lab outings, such as: happy hours, kayaking/boating on Lake Union, picnics, and holiday festivities.
The Gerner Lab also strives to make an inclusive and safe environment for all members of the team. Questions, concerns, and suggestions for improving the lab are always welcomed by the PI or lab manager.
