Designating primary Providers and Clinical Groups

You can designate a primary Provider or Clinical Group on the subject form. Both will appear on the Subject List form.

To designate a primary Provider or Clinical Group, click in the open space to the left of the name: a number "1" will be attached

To remove the primary status of a Provider or Clinical Group without designating a replacement, click on the number "1" while holding down the Shift key.

You can assign a new record automatically to a default primary Provider and Clinical Group (see Subject Info/Navigation).

Note: Before you can save a new record, you will be asked if you wish to designate a primary Provider or Clin- ical Group if more than one are listed. If a new subject record has only one Provider or Clinical Group listed, they will be designated by default upon saving the record.
