Proposal abstracts should be submitted by the online form and in an Adobe PDF or Word file by January 19, 2026 with the following required information:
- Project title
- Project type (applied research vs advanced research)
- PIs, their affiliations, and contacts
- Research thrust(s) as listed in this RFP.
- Possible/likely match funds provider(s)
- Explanation of the regional importance and national significance of the proposal (300 words maximum)
- Proposal abstract (350 words maximum)
