Active Minds Student Organization

Active Minds is a nation-wide organization that seeks to reduce the stigmas surrounding mental illnesses, particularly on college campuses. People diagnosed with mental illnesses in the 18-24 year old demographic are the least likely to seek help. We do events such as the NAMI Walk, National Stress Out Day, National Day Without Stigma, and plenty of fun meetings and activities during the year, such as hosting a mental-health themed movie night. We also raise awareness of the Counselling Centre and other resources on campus that students can use to find help.

We have open minds and open doors and are always actively seeking new members!
