The Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS) are hosting their 19th Annual Pre-Health Conference on Saturday, April 11th, 2020. This conference is the largest pre-health conference at the University of Washington and is open to all high school and undergraduate students.
Students will have the opportunity to…
- Network with other high school students, undergraduate students, healthcare students, and healthcare professionals.
- Healthcare fields include medicine, PA, nursing, dentistry, optometry, and pharmacy.
- Connect with Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) at UW, graduate school admissions, community organizations in healthcare, and volunteer opportunities at our Resource Fair.
- Attend workshops to broaden students’ perspectives on what “healthcare” means, and how to be a well-rounded healthcare professional. Examples include:
- Global Health Panel
- Homelessness Health Disparities
- Nursing and How It Affects Healthcare
- Queer Health
- Social Determinants of Health
- Participate in unforgettable hands-on interactive activities such as:
- Dental workshop brought to you by students from UW School of Dentistry
- Organs workshop brought to you by students from UW School of Medicine
