Genentech is looking for recent graduates (by June 2020) pursuing medicine, nursing, pharmacy, public health or other related health professional roles and planning to continue their education upon completion of this internship.
Genentech is a biotech company dedicated to pursuing groundbreaking science to discover and develop medicines for people with serious and life-threatening diseases (see more). Specifically, Genentech’s Access Solutions team helps patients understand and navigate their insurance coverage and assistance options for Genentech medicines, including direct coordination with healthcare providers, insurers and patients (see more).
Beginning in June 2020, this unique and innovative 12-month internship will focus on coverage and reimbursement challenges along the patient healthcare delivery journey. Our aim is that participants will continue their professional careers with a better understanding of the patient experience and the payment/reimbursement challenges of healthcare delivery through hands-on learning.
