Volunteer Opportunity for Spanish speakers

Hey UW Pre-Health students,

I have a great volunteer opportunity for any pre-health student who speaks Spanish. The Center for Diversity and Health Equity at Seattle Children’s is attending a community event called Semana Binacional, where we will be doing a bike safety event and will be fitting free bike helmets for children and families. We are in need of 3 more Spanish speakers to come help out. The event is taking place at Burien City Hall/Library (Address: 400 SW 152nd Street, Burien, WA 98166) on October 8th. We would like volunteers to show up at 10:30am. The event ends either at 4:30pm or whenever we run out of helmets. Volunteers will be provided with a Children’s T-shirt and a $70 stipend, as well as training for the event. Any students interested in signing up should email Timothy Hong ASAP at timothy.hong@seattlechildrens.org.

Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you.
