If a life-saving treatment is available to only a few individuals, how should one decide who gets treated? Is patenting genes and biological materials ethically sound? Come share your thoughts at MEDIC, UW’s interdisciplinary bioethics discussion group. MEDIC will be presenting at Dawg Daze Friday the 22nd and Saturday the 21st in Mary Gates Hall 251. If you’re interested in learning more about the study of bioethics and want to get involved, these events offer a great opportunity to see what MEDIC does. Regardless of your background, major or experience level, MEDIC offers an open, fun environment to discuss some of the most hotly debated ethical issues of our time.
