AED Officer Applications NOW OPEN for 2013-2014

Interested in gaining some leadership experience? Want to help foster a great community for pre-health students? Apply to be an officer of Alpha Epsilon Delta! We are now currently accepting applications for next year. Any student is eligible regardless of prior experience, class standing, or membership status. We will assess your responses based on quality of content and thoroughness of thought. Select applicants will be contacted for an interview. APPLICATION LINK: https://catalyst.uw.edu/webq/survey/yuasam/198488 The following positions are available: President** – Oversee and facilitate officer meetings; provide direction and advice to other officers, coordinate a majority of the planning for the Pre-Med Expo Vice President – Lead some officer meetings, liaison to ASUW and other student organizations, fulfill President’s duties when the President is absent or unavailable Treasurer – Maintain and operate finances, keep record of organization’s transactions, collect membership fees and deposit to bank Secretary – Take notes and attendance at all meetings, operate public relations for events Webmaster – Design/maintain/edit website, write and send out weekly emails to the list serv, create Catalyst surveys and polls when needed Membership Chair – Create/edit membership application, organize member induction in May, submit national membership applications to the advisors, monitor member points Philanthropy Chair – Plan, organize, and execute all philanthropy events, communicate with charities/non-profit organizations Social Chair – Plan all social events, maintain Facebook page, create Facebook events, be social ** Those applying for PRESIDENT will need to submit their applications by: Friday, April 19th at 11:59 PM The deadline for all other positions is: Friday, April 26th at 5:00 PM Thanks and we look forward to reading all of your lovely responses! -AED Officers 2012-2013
