ETHNIC CULTURAL THEATER 3931 BROOKLYN AVENUE

Sarah Omega walks with Sylvia Akongo, a fistula survivor, whom Sarah identified and brought to treatment through her rural outreach program

One By One, a Seattle-based organization that works on treatment and prevention of obstetric fistula in a number of African countries, is honored to be hosting their newest Kenyan partner, Sarah Omega Kidangasi, for her first visit to Seattle. As a former fistula patient and someone who now works tirelessly on the frontlines as a community educator and fistula patient advocate, Sarah brings a tremendously valuable perspective to the global maternal health conversation. Come hear Sarah Omega and Heidi Breeze-Harris, Executive Director of One By One talk about their new partnership for comprehensive fistula treatment and prevention in Western Kenya.
