Dear Colleagues: Jumpstart Seattle at the University of Washington is hiring an Associate Site Manager to join our team. Jumpstart is a National nonprofit program that engages college students in a year-long service-learning position mentoring 3-5 year old preschool children in classrooms across Seattle. Jumpstart is housed in the Center for Experiential Learning and Diversity on the UW Seattle campus and works closely with other programs in the Center, as well as our preschool partners and allies in the community. The Associate Site Manager works in conjunction with other Site Managers, key campus personnel and Jumpstart’s regional and national staff to implement the Jumpstart program model. The Associate Site Manager will advance the goals of the Jumpstart program by serving as one of the primary advisors of Jumpstart undergraduate Corps Members. The Associate Site Manager will collaborate with other Site Managers to recruit, train and support over 100 undergraduate students serving as part-time AmeriCorps members to work one-to-one with low-income preschool children during the academic year.
