BYOC MEDIC Meeting Tomorrow 3/8!!

To celebrate the end of the quarter and take a moment away from studying, we are holding a special last meeting of the quarter! Come join us for a fun Bring-Your-Own-Case meeting where you can directly influence the topics we explore!

What: BYOC MEDIC Meeting When: Tuesday, March 8th, 2011 4:30-6:00pm Where: Loew 220

Please feel free to Bring Your Own Case [not beer] where you can bring either food or an ethical case. If you have come across any interesting bioethics cases you’d like to share or have a favorite food–now is your chance! Any chips, cookies or other finger food works well. Nothing “heat-up-and-serve” or too labor intensive.

IMPORTANT: Each person who brings a case/ethical issue to discuss will receive an extra meeting’s attendance point! This is a great way to boost your total quarterly attendance to reach the six meetings required to become a MEDIC member! One case = one extra meeting attendance point, limit one per person. 🙂 If you are interested in becoming a MEDIC member, it is easy–simply come to our weekly meetings! No prior experience or knowledge is necessary; we started this group as a way to explore and learn about real-life ethical dilemmas that we may be faced with in our future careers.

Please respond to this email with any questions, comments or concerns you may have regarding MEDIC and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We will have directional signs posted to help you find the meeting room.

Take care,

Jessica
