Meet the Woman who discovered HIV – Nobel Laureate Françoise Barré-Sinoussi

A winner of the Nobel Prize in Medicine will be coming to Seattle! The defeatHIV Community Advisory Board invites the UW community to share an evening with Dr. Francoise Barre-Sinoussi, the woman whose discovery of the HIV virus earned her a 2008 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. The event will be held on Wednesday, August 27 from 7:00-8:30 pm at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center’s Pelton Auditorium.
