Teach for America

On Thursday, October 16th, from 12:30-1:30 in Mary Gates Hall Room 206 Sean Rice from Teach for America will be on campus to give an information session. Come check it out if you want to learn more about the mission of Teach for America and the leadership opportunities that it offers! See below for more information:

Teach For America is developing a movement of leaders (from all backgrounds) who will help drive change at every level of our education system toward the goal of closing the opportunity gap in America. These leaders start by teaching for at least two years in urban and rural high need communities, but that is just the beginning. Our alumni go on to be leaders within education policy, school leadership, medicine, business, law, and academia. This talk will be about Teach For America’s mission and how it connects to your long term interests whether that is graduate school, business, law, medicine or anything else.
