Blanket making event in support of breast cancer patients

Breast cancer has affected the lives of millions of families around the world. With it, it brings pain and hardship. Here at Golden Key we would like to reduce that pain, if even for a moment. That is why we are hosting this event.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, UW Golden Key International Honour Society is holding its 2nd annual blanket making event. Join us Thursday, Oct. 30th in HUB 340 from 6-8 PM to make blankets, scarves, and cards for breast cancer patients at the University of Washington Medical Center.

Whether you personally know someone afflicted by breast cancer, or just want to brighten up a breast cancer patient’s day, come out and help us. RSVP at the Facebook link below:

This event is for UW students only. Unfortunately due to HUB regulations we are not able to open it up to the general public. If you have any question or concerns feel free to email goldkey@uw.edu, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
