DEADLINE EXTENDED- GLOBAL HEALTH PROGRAM AND INTERNSHIP SCHOLARSHIPS: United Nations-recognized NGO Child Family Health International (CFHI) has scholarships available for over 25 Global Health Education Programs and Internships in 7 countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, India, Mexico, South Africa, Uganda) that focus on a variety of salient global health themes including, health systems, end-of-life care, maternal/child health, health as a human right, and more.

REFLECTIONS IN GLOBAL HEALTH ESSAY CONTEST: Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) Trainee Global Health Reflection Essay Contest: Open to students worldwide of all levels and disciplines, there are 3 categories (Social Justice, Messages of Hope, and Open Category).  Select past essays are published in an anthology sponsored by Gold Foundation and have been recorded by NPR.  Contest is sponsored by University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Global Health, Loyola University Chicago, and Child Family Health International.

Child Family Health International (CFHI) has announced new 2-week Global Health Intensive Programs this December/January.  Made possible by CFHI’s longer programs and year-round in-country presence, these provide a compressed experience for those students whose schedules don’t allow for longer immersion.
