Two Undergraduate Students Needed for Data Entry in a Silviculture and Fire Research Project

Two students needed for January and February to assist in the development of a forest management decision-support tool used to simulate forest dynamics and estimate fire behavior. Students will prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry, check source documents for accuracy and verify data and correct data where necessary.

Major duties included data entry of shrubs and herbaceous vegetation data into a central computerized database.

Students must be familiar with silviculture, forest ecology, wildfires and Microsoft Access.

Preference will be given to work study students and those who can work between 10 to 19.5 hours per week.

Salary is competitive.
