Full Time, Paid Position Opening

Study Coordinator Full time, paid, study coordinator position opening for Seattle Institute for Biomedical Research (SIBCR), NIH funded project examining the interaction of pain, health habits and medication. This position will involve working with older and middle age adults.

Characteristics of the position include: coordinate the operations of clinical, biomedical and/or behavioral research studies involving human subjects.; apply protocol, conduct interviews, administer cognitive tests and questionnaires, record observations; score tests, record results, process biomedical samples, coordinate management of study data and assist with presentation of results.

Candidates must be comfortable with handling and processing biomedical samples such as human blood and working in a hospital environment.  Computer knowledge is important, and experience with windows, Excell, Powerpoint, MS word are necessary and experience with redcap, Eprime, SPSS is desirable.

An educational background in Psychology courses such as research methods and cognitive psychology or Neuroscience (particularly applied human models) are also helpful. Availability of transportation is necessary.

This position will involve work at the Veterans Administration Medical Center- Seattle Division located on Beacon Hill.
