Volunteer: Nick of Time Foundation

Calling all undergrad and graduate students!

If you are pre-med, pre-dent, pre-nursing, or anyone looking to get involved on campus and volunteer in the community, we invite you come learn about our RSO, Nick of Time Foundation at the University of Washington.

The Nick of Time Foundation is a local non-profit dedicated to educating schools, athletes, families, and communities about Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and death in young people. They provide low-cost heart screenings for young athletes and spread awareness about SCA. Through our partnership with this organization, we provide community service opportunities for our members throughout the year. Much of our volunteering comes in the form of teaching CPR and AED use to the general public and helping promote their mission. There are also opportunities to network with various doctors and medical students involved with the foundation.

Our first informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 10th from 5:00pm-6:00pm in Smith 102. I will be introducing the officers, going over policies, and talking about way to get involved. Plus there will be free food and free t-shirts (limited supply)!
