94th Commencement Ceremony Welcomes 104 Podiatrists
On May 20, 2011 at the Palace Theatre in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (OCPM) graduated 104 students and welcomed them into the podiatric profession. The Commencement ceremony featured the presentation of the Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree which was awarded to State Treasurer Josh Mandel (pictured below).

OCPM also honored the reunion alumni classes of 1961 (50 years), 1971 (40 years), 1986 (25 years), and 1995 (15 years) as part of the commencement program.
7th Annual Glass Slipper Fete Raises $45,000 for Students
http://ih.constantcontact.com/fs020/1101854472700/img/762.jpg The 7th Annual Glass Slipper Fete was held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the Embassy Suites Cleveland-Rockside Hotel in Independence, Ohio. The evening featured fine food and drinks, silent auction and raffles, and the fantastic music of the Grand Avenue Band! Guests spent time placing bids on many exciting silent auction items which included catered parties, autographed footballs and basketballs, trips around the world, and even a kitten and puppy! Guests were also able to purchase jewelry, courtesy of Marise Jewelry Designs Co. as well as fur coats courtesy of FurAllure. The highlight of the evening was the Hall of Fame induction ceremony which honored Drs. Terence B. Albright, William F. Munsey, and Hal Ornstein. Congratulations again to the 2011 Hall of Fame inductees and their families!

The Doctors Company Announces 2011 Dividend for Members in Ohio

The 2011 dividend credit, approved by The Doctors Company’s Board of Governors, will be applied as a 10 percent premium reduction to its nearly 5,000 members in Ohio on policy renewals on or after July 1, 2011.

The Doctors Company Offers Patient Safety Seminar for Members in Ohio: The Perils of Diagnosis

OCPM Alumnus Produces TV Talk Show and Runs Foundation

The show airs weekly and is broadcasted to viewers throughout the mid-Georgia area. The show is designed to address topics that will penetrate into American pop-cultural consciousness.
Dr. Williamson owns Podiatric Medical Associates in Macon. He also created The Rondrick Williamson Foundation, a 501(c)(3) Organization. The Foundation’s primary activities are to award scholarships to high-achieving students who demonstrate need.
