Dermatology Arts is a contemporary dermatology practice with locations in downtown Bellevue and Yakima. We are consistently one of the top-rated dermatology practices in Washington State. We are currently looking for a professional, highly motivated, and experience-driven employee to join our team of medical assistants in our Bellevue office, seeking to start employment as soon as possible.
As a medical assistant, you will learn to conduct patient intake interviews, document medical histories, assist in excisions and biopsies, schedule appointments, receive referrals, send out prescriptions, etc. You will work alongside our providers and learn medical techniques and terminology, and best charting and education practices through shared patient care responsibilities.
This is an opportunity to get one step ahead of other candidates looking to pursue medical school, PA school, nursing school, or other healthcare programs. Several of our former medical assistants have been admitted to medical school, including at the University of Washington. The position is best suited for graduates who can commit to two or more years of employment. Prior experience as a medical assistant is not a requirement to apply. You will have the opportunity to earn your Medical Assistant certification during your training.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional empathy and customer service skills
- Strong written English skills, additional languages appreciated
- BA or BS degree
- Medical terminology, billing, and/or scribing experience helpful
