16th Annual Pre-Health Conference “Redefine Healthcare” 1/28

The Chicanos for Community Medicine and the Minority Association of Pre-Health Students would like to invite you to the 16th annual Pre-Health Conference “Inspiring Diversity in Healthcare”! The conference is the largest Pre-Health Conference at the University of Washington and is open to all high school and undergraduate students.

Students will have the opportunity to:

1) Network with high school students across Washington, undergraduate students, medical students from the University of Washington, and health-care professionals from all different fields

2) In addition, students will also be able to participate in unforgettable hands-on interactive activities such as:


a. Dental Simulations (brought to you by the UW School of Dentistry
b. Simulation Surgical Demonstrations
c. Organ Labs (brought to you by the UW School of Medicine)
d. Suture Workshops (brought to you by current healthcare professionals)

The exposure that the Pre-Health Conference gives the students who attend is invaluable and well beyond the $15.00 that tickets are sold for undergraduate students.  $5.00 for High School Students.

The theme of the conference is “Redefine Healthcare,” which is a call to stretch the bounds of healthcare. It will focus deeply on the variety of careers in the healthcare system and the multitudes of paths that you may take to get there, as well as address the importance of diversity in the health professions in order to address the nation’s need to eliminate inequities in the quality of health care for underserved populations.

EVENT IS BUSINESS CASUAL.
