Health Professions Week is a first-of-its-kind interprofessional virtual recruitment event that boasts an exciting week-long series of activities—mostly online—for high school and college students interested in learning more about careers in the health professions. It’s completely free for students, counselors, parents and advisers.
#HPW2017 is intended to increase awareness of the 20 participating health professions and is inspired by a vision that collaborative practice is key to safe, high quality, accessible, patient-centered care. During the inaugural 2016 event, over 4,000 students from across the U.S. joined in the virtual fairs, online treasure hunts, interview days and community connect days. This year, we anticipate a 50% increase in attendance!
Registration is free and required to participate in some of the week’s events.
