PhysAssist Scribes is currently hiring!

PhysAssist Scribes is currently hiring for part-time and full-time positions in their Tacoma Team. It’s a great opportunity for students to experience the Emergency Department setting and learn more about the medical field.

Scribes collect clinical hours and learn valuable medical terminology and diagnoses that will help with their future studies. Many scribes eventually become nurses, physician assistants, medical assistants, physicians, physical therapists, etc. This is also a great opportunity to meet and learn from physicians and receive recommendations for future career/school applications.

Shifts range from six to 12 hours, depending on the facility. A full-time PhysAssist Scribe can expect to work between 30 to 40 hours a week, and a part-time scribe will work between 12 to 30 hours per week.

They work with students to be sure that their shift schedule works with their school schedule. Students are given a month’s notice to submit requests for days off for MCATs, exams or school interviews.

They are happy to announce an increase in our hourly wage/salary based on the increasing cost of living and demands, and to stay competitive with other employers.

If any students are interested in this opportunity or have any more further questions, please contact them at ali.comfort@iamscribe.com or kasey.temple@iamscribe.com.
