Brent Adams and Jeremy Leonard’s mini documentary explores sanctioned tent cities throughout the Pacific Northwest, including sites in Eugene, OR, Portland, OR, Olympia, WA, and Seattle WA. The video captures standpoints of residents and volunteers, showing how these “sanctuary camps” do more than just provide housing for homeless individuals and families. Many of the villages and cities create opportunities for cross-class alliances, and the camps often challenge residual solutions to end homelessness.
