Newest Paper Out

Ty’s paper on how sumoylation prevents a spontaneous Type I interferon response is online at PNAS, open access. He uncovered a mechanism for activating the antiviral response that is distinct from all known inducers. Congrats, Ty! You can read the paper here.

Congratulations to our newest graduate, Dr. Ty Crowl! Ty defended his thesis, SUMO: Wrestling with type I interferon today. We will miss him and wish him luck with his internship this summer at Seattle Genetics!
