Afrah Aftab

Undergraduate Researcher

University of Washington

My research at the Stoll Lab focuses on Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS) and developing methods to synthesize proteins suitable for electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy studies. I work directly with my mentor, Rachelle Stowell, in her research. I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s of science in biochemistry and am part of the interdisciplinary honors program at the University of Washington. After graduation I hope to attend medical school and become a general surgeon.
