Case #5 - A 45 year old with progressive abdominal distension

 
CLINICAL CASE:
A 45 year old man presented to the outpatient department with progressive abdominal distension since two months. He denied any history of pain, GI symptoms or jaundice. He had been drinking large amounts of alcohol for the last 15 years. On physical examination he had abdominal distension with associated findings suggestive of ascites.
