Case #2 - A 32 year old with bloody diarrhea

 
CLINICAL CASE:
You are called to see a 32 year old lady who presented to the emergency room with 18 hour history of bloody diarrhea. She has been having episodes of crampy abdominal pain for the past 6 weeks and has had diarrhea associated with this, which has been blood tinged. This is the first time that it has been grossly bloody and she is feeling weak and dizzy. She has had no other symptoms and had been healthy prior to 6 weeks before this presentation.
