8.) What are the operations that can be performed to treat hemorrhoids?

Operations that may be done:

  • Excisional hemorrhoidectomy with excision of each column of hemorrhoids

  • Circumferential hemorrhoidectomy for circumferential prolapse - rarely done

  • Stapled hemorrhoidopexy - newer procedure, less painful
