VASCULAR SURGERY
Case #4 -
A 75 year old with acute abdominal and back pain

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
4.) What is the role of CT scan in a patient with ruptured AAA?

An emergent CT scan can be considered only if the vital signs are stable, the hematocrit is normal, and the abdominal pain is mild. It may help in operative planning.
